Technical Vision Group (TVG Report) is committed to transparency, independence, accuracy, and clear disclosure. As an engineering-first technology newsroom, we believe readers should know how we gather information, how we are funded, and how we handle professional relationships with companies, event organizers, and product manufacturers.
1. Editorial Independence
TVG maintains editorial independence. Our reporting, product reviews, interviews, and technical analysis are based on the judgment of our editorial team.
- No favorable-coverage trades: We do not trade positive coverage for advertising, products, services, event access, or sponsorship.
- Technical accuracy: We check technical claims against available documentation, observable evidence, credible sources, and practical engineering judgment.
- Corrections: When we identify a material error, we correct it clearly and promptly.
2. Affiliate & Monetization Disclosure
TVG may participate in affiliate marketing programs or other reader-revenue programs. When readers click certain product or service links and make a purchase, TVG may receive a commission at no additional cost to the reader.
Affiliate relationships do not determine our conclusions, product recommendations, or technical criticism. We only link to products or services that are relevant to our coverage areas and useful to our readers.
3. Sponsored Content
TVG may publish sponsored content or partner content when it aligns with our coverage areas.
- Sponsored or paid content is labeled clearly as “Sponsored,” “Partner Content,” or “Paid Advertisement.”
- Sponsored content is kept distinct from independent editorial reporting.
- Sponsors do not receive control over independent editorial coverage.
4. Review Units & Product Access
TVG accepts review units, loaner products, event access, briefings, and software access when they fit our editorial coverage areas.
Providing a review unit or access does not guarantee publication, positive coverage, product placement, a specific score, or preferred treatment. TVG reserves the right to publish critical findings, decline coverage, return a product, or retain a product according to the terms agreed with the manufacturer or PR representative.
If a product being reviewed was provided by a manufacturer or PR agency, TVG will disclose that fact in the article.
5. Testing Standards
Whenever practical, TVG reviews use observable testing notes, setup details, benchmark conditions, photos, logs, or repeatable procedures. For safety-critical products, education tools, robotics systems, and electrical or mechanical hardware, we prioritize practical reliability and user safety over marketing claims.
6. Use of Artificial Intelligence
TVG may use AI-assisted tools for research organization, transcription, drafting support, data comparison, image/layout preparation, and workflow automation.
Final editorial judgment, fact-checking, publication approval, corrections, and accountability remain under human editorial control. AI tools are not treated as independent sources.
7. Conflicts of Interest
If TVG has a material relationship that could reasonably affect reader trust — including sponsorship, affiliate compensation, review-unit access, travel support, or a paid partnership — we disclose it in the relevant article or page.
